Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) is committed to sustainable and responsible water management across all campuses. In alignment with the UMK Sustainable Development Goals Guidelines (Section 2.6 – SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation), the University prioritises efficient water usage, minimisation of wastage, and the adoption of water-saving technologies.

UMK actively promotes water reuse and recycling initiatives, alongside measures to reduce pollution and ensure safe wastewater management. Through strategic collaborations with local and international partners, as well as community engagement programmes, UMK works to enhance awareness and participation in sustainable water and sanitation practices.

This policy reflects UMK’s dedication to protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, and supporting long-term campus sustainability for current and future generations.
